ARRANGEMENTS MADE DURING KANWAR MELA

In view of the heavy crowd expected during the Kanwar Mela, Delhi Division has arranged to run a special train 04413 from Delhi with a rake composition of 20 General Second Class coaches and 2 SLR coaches, apart from two special trains 04313 and 04315 from Delhi Sarai Rohilla.

Train 04413 Delhi–Haridwar (via Shamli) will run up to 24.07.2025 and depart at 16:45 hrs, before train number 14545 Delhi–Saharanpur (via Shamli), which departs at 17:15 hrs, to help manage evacuation of the extra rush of devotees/passengers.

Two trains — 64557 and 74023 — have been extended up to Haridwar.


Static force deployment at main stations:
Tapri, Deoband, Khatauli, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Modinagar, Shamli, Noli, Baghpat, etc.
Sensitive gate numbers: 56, 69, 70, 71 — being manned 24×7.


Gang Naher Bridge is being manned.
All trains to Haridwar are being attended by sufficient staff of RPF QRT / PAC and GRP.
All passengers and Kanwadiyas are being educated not to travel o­n gate, roof, engine, etc. and not to accept any eatables from unknown persons through station PA and loud hailor.


Fire tender and ambulance are available at MOZ station.
Close coordination has been maintained among GRP/SS and local police.
Continuous coordination with Local Intelligence Units is in place.
Track patrolling is also being done in sensitive locations.
