CRB & CEO Sh. Satish Kumar administers Swachhata pledge
to Officers and Staff at New Delhi Railway station.
“Swachhata Abhiyaan” is being organized over Delhi Division of Northern Railway to celebrate Independence Day 2025 in a befitting manner from 1st of August 2025 to 15thof August 2025. This cleanliness drive will be further continued over Delhi Division upto 31st of October, 2025.
Today, Sh. Satish Kumar CRB & CEO launched the drive at New Delhi Railway station. He administered the Swachhata Pledge to Officers and Staff at New Delhi railway station. CRB & CEO alongwith officers and staff participated in Shramdaan. Saplings were planted on this occasion. CRB and CEO also inspected the mechanized cleaning machines in use at the station. A Nukkad Natak was also organized to create awareness about keeping station premises clean. He has also interacted with the passenger regarding cleanliness and took their feedback. Sh. Ashok Kumar Verma, General Manager Northern Railway, Sh. Pushpesh Raman Tripathi, Divisional Railway Manager, Delhi and Officers and Staff of Railway Board and Northern Railway were also present on this occasion.
On this occasion, a thorough cleaning campaign was launched through Shramdaan at railway stations. Plantation of saplings was also organized at railway stations. On this occasion, Sh. Naveen Gulati Member Infrastructure at Delhi Sarai Rohilla Railway station, Sh. Braj Mohan Agrawal Member Traction & Rolling Stock at Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway station, Sh. Hitendra Malhotra, Member Operations and Business Development at Delhi Cantt. Railway Station, Ms. Usha Venugopal Member Finance at Delhi Jn. Railway station, Sh. R Rajagopal Director General HR at Anand Vihar Terminal, Sh. Hari Shankar Verma Director General Safety at Faridabad Railway station and Director General Railway Health Services at Tughlakabad Railway station launched the Swachhata Abhiyaan. Apart from this 21 Additional Members of Railway Board launched the Swachhata Abhiyaan campaign at different stations of Delhi area and National Capital Region.
