The Historic President’s Saloon at National Rail Museum, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi, opened today for general public in the auspicious presence of chief guest Smt. Aashima Mehrotra, Executive Director (Heritage) , Railway Board, accompanied by Sh. Dinesh Kumar Goyal, Director, National Rail Museum.
The exhibition will remain opened for general public from 19th august 2025 to 24th august 2025.
This exhibition aims to explore the unique history of the presidential saloon of Indian Railways used by the honorable presidents of India for state travel. The exhibition highlights the legacy of their rail journeys and showcasing the blend of tradition and innovation that defines this prestigious symbol of Indian Railways.
