“Swachhata Hi Seva” Campaign is being organized on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi's birthday on 2nd October, to make his dream come true and to fulfill his commitment to cleanliness. on the Indian Railways this year from 17th September to 1st October “Swachhata Hi Seva” campaign is being organized on the theme of ‘Swabhav Swachhata-Sanskar Swachhata”. Many events are being organized to create awareness as part of this campaign.
Today, on 2nd day of the Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign "Safai Mitra camp" was organized at Northern Railway Divisional Hospital, Anand Vihar Health Unit and Punjabi Bagh Health Unit. In this Health check up camp BP, Sugar, Dental, Eye, Nose and Ears of Housekeeping Attendants has been checked. Safety PPEs were also distributed to the Housekeeping Attendants.
At Ghaziabad Railway station saplings were planted by RPF personnel. A cleanliness drive was also organised in the station area.
