“Swachhata Hi Seva” Campaign is being organized on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi's birthday on 2nd October, to make his dream come true and to fulfill his commitment to cleanliness. on the Indian Railways this year from 17th September to 1st October 2024 “Swachhata Hi Seva” campaign is being organized on the theme of ‘Swabhav Swachhata-Sanskar Swachhata”. Many events are being organized to create awareness as part of this campaign.
Today on the 8th Day of “Swachhata Hi Seva -2024 " campaign Door to Door Awareness Program was organized at Railway Colonies i.e. Punjabi Bagh, Shakurbasti, Tughlakabad, Lajpatnagar, Basant Lane, Delhi Kishanganj, Jind, Meerut City and Ghaziabad. Pamphlets were distributed to the residents to create awareness to maintain cleanliness in their surroundings. An intensive cleanliness drive was conducted at New Delhi and Old Delhi railway stations.
