"Swachhata Pakhwada” campaign being organised on Railways
from 1st October to 15th October 2024.
“Swachhata Pakhwada” Campaign is being organized from 1st October to 15th October to commemorate Mahatma Gandhi's birthday on 2nd October, to make his dream come true and to fulfill his commitment to cleanliness.
Today, Intensive cleaning of canteens, food stalls in and around station premises was undertaken. Utensil cleaning, garbage disposal was checked during cleaning for sustainable improvement in cleaning activity. It was ensured that Food vendors, cooks and bearer of canteens maintained personal hygiene and had undergone periodic medical check up. The Benefits of segregation waste at source was explained to these staff. Provision of Dry & Wet dustbins was ensured at catering units.
