"Swachhata Pakhwada” campaign being organised on Railways
from 1st October to 15th October 2024.
“Swachhata Pakhwada” Campaign is being organized from 1st October to 15th October to commemorate Mahatma Gandhi's birthday on 2nd October, to make his dream come true and to fulfill his commitment to cleanliness.
Today, drive for Cleaning of water bodies in Railway premises was organized. All water treatment plants, water installations including filter plants were checked. Cleanliness and hygiene maintained at Filtration Plants was checked. A Drive was organised for making Drinking water area clean at Stations. Staff was educated to ensure proper stacking of hydrant pipes at coach water filling points (at Stations & Coaching depots) to ensure hygiene. It was checked that water supply pipelines are in good condition.
