Today Sh. Sukhvinder Singh, Divisional Railway Manager Delhi interacted with passengers in the Rail Chaupal organized at New Delhi Railway Station under Special Campaign 4.0 “Swachhata Hi Sanskar Hai”.

Special Campaign 4.0 is being organized from 1stOctober to 31st October 2024. As a part of the campaign Rail Chaupal was organized at Ajmeri Gate Side Circulating area New Delhi Railway Station. Shri Sukhvinder Singh, DRM Delhi interacted with the passengers regarding cleanliness at Railway Premises and in trains.

The theme of Special Campaign 4.0 is “Swachhata Hi Sanskar Hai”. The idea behind the Rail Chaupal is “Baat Karne se hi Baat Banti Hai” (talking is the o­nly way to get things done). The passengers expressed their satisfaction regarding the cleanliness standards at the Stations and in Trains. They were of the view that improvements in cleanliness standards have taken place specially in the past 10 Years. Most of the passengers said that community participation was required in this endeavor and it was the passengers duty also to cooperate with Railways to keep station premises and trains clean.

Shri Sukhvinder Singh, DRM Delhi requested the passengers to cooperate with Railways in maintaining cleanliness and are welcome to give their suggestion/feedback so that Railway may make necessary improvements.
