Overview:

Overview:

With the GazettedOfficers strength of 05 and Non-gazetted staff strength of 1891, Electrical/Coaching department of Delhi Division is maintaining 60% Rajdhani and 36% Shatabdi trains of Indian Railway. It is headed by Sr.DEE/Chg. who is assisted by DEE/Chg. in the division.

Maintenance Centers & Activities:

(a) Coaching Depots: 

Delhi, New Delhi, Nizammuddin, Delhi Sarai Rohilla, Anand Vihar, Shakurbasti, Meerut, Jind, Rohtak, Panipat.

(b) Coaching Activities: 

Maintenance of prestigious Gatiman, Tejas, Humsafar, Duranto, Yuva, LHB Shatabdi & Rajdhani rakes, Hybrid, Garib Rath, Conventional EOG stock, Other M/Express & Passenger train rakes, Trip, Monthly, Six Monthly, IOH/SS-1 Schedule of LHB coaches, IOH of Conv. EOG & M/Express coaches, Modifications & upgrades of coaching stock.

Motivational measures have been started in Electrical/Chg depot by awarding “Man of the Month” for good work done, saving train detention/punctuality, avoiding passenger complaint etc.
