1. General: Delhi Division has 1492.90 route kilometers having the busiest routes of Indian Railway. The Division falls in the jurisdiction of union territory of Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and Utter Pradesh states serving civil districts of Delhi (NCT State). It is spread over 20 Districts i.e. Ghaziabad, Meerut, Muzaffar Nagar, Saharanpur, Baghpat, Faridabad, Palwal, Sonipat, Panipat, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Ambala, Gurgaon, Rewari, Jhajjar, Rohtak, Jind, Fatehabad, Mansa and Bhatinda. NDLS, DLI, HNZM, DEE & ANVT are the main station having the direct trains to the whole country. There are six tracks between NDLS–TKJ, quadruplet lines between TKJ–HNZM–TKD– JNC-PWL & SBB–GZB and triplate line facilities between GZB–CPYZ. New Delhi being the central hub is connected to the rest of the country.
