TOTAL EARNINGS
Total earnings during the year 2022-23 (till Oct’22) is ₹ 912.39 Crore as against ₹ 650.90 Crore in the corresponding year and proportionate target of ₹ 917.97 Crore. Thus, total earnings increased by 40.2% when compared with the corresponding period of last year & decreased by 0.6% when compared with the proportionate target. This incline from last year is due to the growth in all the segments of earning.
PASSENGER EARNINGS
Passenger earning during the year 2022-23 (till Oct) is ₹ 469.16 Crores as against ₹ 249.55 Crores in the corresponding year and proportionate target of ₹ 461.80 Crores. Thus, Passenger earnings increased by 88% and 1.6% when compared with the corresponding period of last year and proportionate target respectively. Restoration of trains is the major factor behind this incline from last year.
OTHER COACHING EARNINGS
Other Coaching earnings during the year 2022-23 (till Oct) is ₹ 58.53 Crores as against ₹ 36.66 Crores in the corresponding year and proportionate target of ₹ 38.78 Crores. Thus, the Other Coaching Earnings increased by 59.7% & 50.9% when compared with the corresponding period of last year & proportionate target respectively. This incline is due to the growth in Ticket Checking Earning.
GOODS EARNINGS
Goods earning during the year 2022-23 (till Oct) is ₹ 331.40 crore as against ₹ 329.57 Crore in the corresponding year and proportionate target of ₹ 380.50 Crore. Thus, Goods Earnings increased by 0.6% when compared with the corresponding period of last year and decreased by 12.9% when compared with the proportionate target respectively.
SUNDRY EARNINGS
Sundry earning during the year 2022-23 (till Oct) is ₹ 53.30 Crores as against ₹ 35.13 Crores in the corresponding period of previous year and proportionate target of ₹ 36.89 Crores. Thus, Sundry Earnings increased by 51.7% & 44.5% when compared with the corresponding period of last year & proportionate target respectively.
NUMBER OF PASSENGERS
Number of Passengers booked during the year 2022-23 (till Oct) is 02.43 Crore against 0.81 Crore in the corresponding period of last year and proportionate target of 4.31 crore. Thus, the number of passengers booked increased by 198.3% when compared with the corresponding period of last year and decreased by 43.7%when compared with the proportionate target respectively.
EARNINGS FROM TICKET CHECKING
Ticket Checking earning during the year 2022-23 (till Oct) is ₹ 35.56 Crores as against ₹ 15.31 Crores in the corresponding period of previous year and proportionate target of ₹ 31.47 Crores. Thus, Ticket Checking Earnings increased by 132% & 13% when compared with the corresponding period of last year & proportionate target respectively. During the month of May’22, Ticket Checking staff made all out efforts by proper planning of drives/ checks, resulting Ticket Checking earnings of ₹ 9.08 crores from 1.5 lac cases in the month of May’22. This was the ‘Best Ever Performance’ from Ticket checking earning over Moradabad Division.
