Apprentice Engineers Hostel
The Apprentice Engineers Hostel has 114 rooms with a total bed capacity of 170 beds. The hostel has a common recreation hall with cable TV, indoor gymnasium, open badminton and volleyball courts.
Common Hall : Seating Capacity : 50 Trainees at a time equipped with TV and Cable TV Connection.
Yoga Timing: 06:00 to 06:30 AM
Gymnasium: Equipped with Weight Lifting all purpose Machine, Free Weights and ,Dumbbells Etc
Games: Badminton Court, Volleyball and Cricket Ground.
MESS
Mess is run by a “STC Mess Management Committee” comprises of few faculty staff members & representatives from trainees. Mess Hall can cater 120 trainees at a time.
First Lunch hours timing start from 12:55 PM and Second Lunch hours timing start from 01:20 PM. There is 20 minutes gap in Lunch timing for trainees of different courses.
The mess having Commercial LPG gas supply is used for preparation of meal. For procurement of general raw material of food items, for preparation of meals etc. separate contract from outside agency has been arrange and done through quotations which was renew time to time. Similarly separate contract for serving of food and Cleaning of utencils has also been arrange through quotation from open market. Monthly Mess menu meeting held regularly to discuss Mess problems and upkeeping of Mess.
MESS TIMING :
Morning Tea : 6:30 to 07:00 AM
Breakfast: 07:15 to 07:50 AM
Lunch: 12: 55 to 01:40 PM
Tea : 03:45 to 4:00 PM
Dinner: 8:30 to 09:40 PM
Drinking Water cooler, Water Purifier (RO) system is available in MESS and also in Hostel wings.
