Vision:
To put all the efforts to achieve the targets set by NRHQ, major achievements during Upto JULY-2025 is as under:-
BDU Achievements of Delhi Division during 2025-26 (Upto JULY-25)
A. Goods Traffic:
1. Teevra-I Cargo Time Tabled Train for Lower Assam:
As a part of new initiatives, Delhi Division of Northern Railway ran its first “Teevra Cargo piecemeal train” (every Sunday) for NF Railway on 29.05.2023.
So far, during 2025-26 (UPTO JULY-25) a total of 16 tripsof Teevra-I have been loaded, with 883 wagons generating revenue of Rs.13.52 Cr.
2. Teevra-II Cargo Time Tabled Train for Upper Assam:
In view of first successful run of Teevra-I Cargo Piecemeal Train, Delhi Division has started a new cargo train named as “Teevra Cargo piecemeal Train” (every Wednesday).
So far, during 2025-26 (UPTO JUNE-25) a total of 18Teevra-II cargo goods Trains have been loaded, with 304 wagons generating revenue of Rs.3.88 Cr.
3. BHUSA (FODDER):
First ever loading of Fodder from Karnal to Chitradurg (MYS/SWR) – After six months of dedicated efforts by Divisional BDU team, the division has successfully captured fodder traffic (Bhoosa) loaded from KUN to CTA (Chitradurg) & REP (Reddipalem)and generated revenue of Rs.62.01 Lakhs.
4. De-Oiled Rice BRAN (DORB):
Revamped loading of DOC from Mansa to Chalakudi (TVC/SR) – After a gap of more than one year, BDU has successfully re-diverted traffic of De-Oiled Rice Bran back to rail transport and generated revenue of Rs.1 Cr.
5. Yara Fertilizer:
After a long dedicated efforts of BDU team, the Division has successfully diverted and transported fertilizer of M/s Yara Fertilizer from KUN-MB, loaded 42 wagons and generated revenue of Rs.15.44 Lakhs.
6. Automobile HUB:
With its committed efforts and customer friendly services Delhi Division has emerged as Automobile Hub over Indian Railways and during 2025-26 (UPTO JULY-25) successfully loaded 753 Automobile rakes, which is 34% higher than the last corresponding period i.e. 561 rakes.
Best ever loading of 206 rakes of Automobile in JULY’25.
7. Fly Ash:
Division has successfully loaded 15 Rakes in (Upto JULY-25) and generated revenue of Rs.2.03 Cr.
8. Piecemeal Loading:
To connect the small traders, Division has successfully captured piecemeal traffic of commodities like Extruded Foods, Mango Juice, Paper & Books, Asian Paints, Wooden, Groceries, Rice/Pulses, Sugar, Edible Snacks, Flour, Soap, Spices, Edible Oil, Onion, Cotton Textile, Bentonite Sulphate from Road Transport to Rail. During 2025-26 Division has loaded 80 wagons and generated revenue of Rs. 85.18 Lakhs.
9. Molasses:
Through expeditious marketing efforts, Delhi Division has successfully brought back the Molasses commodity and due to these efforts during 2025-26 (UPTO JULY-25) total 01 rake has loaded, which fetched revenue of Rs.87.52 Lakhs.
B. Parcel Traffic:
1. Demand PCETs: During FY 2025-26 (UPTO JULY-25), Division has loaded total 22 PCETs and fetched revenue of Rs.4.8 Crores.
2. Advance BookingModule: As per extant guidelines issued vide FM circular No.05 of 2022 for advance booking, Division has successfully allotted advance VPs in various Regular/Special/Rush/Festival trains and fetched revenue of Rs.7.34 Crores in 314 VPs trips.
C. NON FARE REVENUE (NFR)
1. New Parcel Scanner: Allotment of contract for Parcel Scanner on 09.12.2024 at NZM station to M/s MKV Associates and total value of contract for 5 years: ₹1,27,49,900/-, and during FY 2025-26 (UPTO JULY’25) Division has received license fee of Rs.19.73 Lakhs.
2. Parking cum Stacking:
Delhi Division has allotted 02 Parking & Stacking sites at NDLS (NE-1 & NE-2) and during FY 2025-26 (UPTO JULY’25) Division has earned Rs.1.68 Crore.
3. Parcel Packing:
Division has allotted Parcel packing contracts of 05 major station i.e. NDLS, DLI, NZM, ANVT & DEE for a period of five years and the contractual value of five years is Rs.2.44 crore. During FY 2025-26 (UPTO JULY’25) Division has received a license fee of Rs.18 Lakhs.
4. Cloak Room:
Division has awarded Cloak Room contracts of 04 major station viz. NDLS, DLI, NZM & ANVT for a period of five years having contractual value of Rs.36.61 Cr. During FY 2025-26 (UPTO JULY’25) Division has received a license fee of Rs.93.66 Lakhs.
