(a)Duty list of Electrical General Officers:-

1.Overall management of Electrical General Assets (Power Supply & Train lighting/AC coaching).

1.Overall responsibility of Maintenance, Stores of Power Supply Assets and Maintenance of train lighting/AC coaching Assets.

2.Cadre controlling, Material & Man Power Planning.

2.Overall responsibility of Oil Engines & Pumps and Stores related power supply and train lighting/AC coaching assets.

3.Do the inspections as laid down in schedules of Electrical Assets.

3.Do the Jr. Scale inspections as laid down in schedules of Electrical Assets.

4.Administrative approval in all proposals (M&P, RSP, Revenue etc.), estimates and variations.

4.Monitoring all matters related to Works Contract & supervision of Electrical Branch and execution of works program, M&P & RSP cases.

5.Supervision & monitoring of awarding of work contracts & AMC of JAG and above.

5.Monitoring audit pares, stock sheet, vigilance cases, accident inquiry report and proposal & estimation of Coaching Works Contracts & AMC.

6.Monitoring of Estimate processing, Expenditure & Budget control.

6.Maintain industrial Relation & prompt disposal of Staff grievances in PNM items, Calculating FRPCPY, Coaching Reliability action plan and its Implementation.

7.Monitoring Target & Action Plans as prescribed by HQ.

7.Power Supply Reliability action plan and its implementation and putting replies of All Power Supply and Coaching HQ Correspondences.

8.Tender Accepting Authority in Sr. Scale tenders.

8.To Send Monthly progress through PCDO & MCDO Power & Coaching & HQ Replies.

9.Any other work assigned by HQ/Any Directives by PCEE/PCME/DRM.

9.Any other work assigned by Sr.DEE/G/MB and other senior officers.

 

(b)Duty list of key supervisors:-

1.Overall supervision of his organization, maintain discipline & Industrial Relations.

1.Attendance of staff & assigning proper jobs to staff as per requirements.

2.Monitoring and record consumption pattern of vital store items.

2.Ensure proper utilization of staff and maintain discipline in office and at site.

3.Monitor the performance of Imprest store items.

 

3.Periodical maintenance, planning and its implementation.

4.Proper failure analysis of important equipments.

4.Ensure proper issue of material and its use/accountal.

5.To ensure quick disposal of Audit objections/stock sheets and other D&AR cases.

5.Material planning for different activities under the charge.

6.Monitor and ensure compliance of the Inspection notes of officers.

6.Supervision of work at site as per extent guidelines.

7.Periodical internal checks in store for store Items, as per codal provision.

7.Keeping close liason with other departments/agencies involved in day to day work.

8.Ensure satisfactory and quality works from the contractors under his Jurisdiction.

8.Ensure safety of staff and equipment at site as per prevailing safety regulations.

9.Keep the senior officers properly informed in time the day to day progress/ abnormalities/remedial action etc.

9.Proper upkeep of equipments and maintaining record as per reliability action plan/standing orders/check lists etc.

10.Keep proper accountal of the cash imprest under his charge.

10.Keeping all technical statistical data for his area.

11.Ensure close liaison with other departments/agencies involved in day to day work.
