S&T failures in 2021-22 and mitigation action plan for year 2022-23:

1. Replacement of overaged BPAC is in progress, Target is for 25 block section in 2022-23 against scope of 30, 7 block sections have been commissioned till date.
2. Provision of redundancy is in progress for following aspects:
a) Power supply redundancy - separate DC-DC converters will be provided for each unit of dual detection
b) Power cable redundancy - separate cable carrying power supply to each unit of dual detection will be provided
c) Media redundancy - Block working will be provided on OFC & Quad both along with auto switch over
3. Work have been floated for 76 Nos SSDAC for provision of dual detection in block circuits
4. Procurement of spares: Spare cards for DAC and UFSBI are being procured via indenting for quick restoration of failure
5. Testing of Block media is being monitored on weekly basis. 25 bad sections have been identified and cable improvement work is in progress, 5 sections have been completed till date

1. Provision of SLB: SLB are being provided on all interlocked LC gates, target for 2022-23 is of 50 LC gates against scope of 83. Work is awarded for all LC gates.
2. Replacement of MLB by ELB: ELB is being provided at LC gates with MLB where power source is available. For balance LC gates, provision of power supply is being chased with electric department
3. Purchasing of ELB spares by using imprest money for periodical replacement and failure rectification is being done.

1. Replacement of overaged point machine is being done, Scope & target for year 2022-23 is 228 out of which 24 have been completed. Material is available and target will be achieved.
2. Pending deficiencies of point and crossing joint inspection is being highlighted and discussed with ENGG officers on weekly basis in Divisional safety meeting and action plan for compliance is planned and followed

1. ELD faults are being monitored on daily basis and weekly report is generated at individual SI level to identify the stations with poor progress, ELD faults are being attended and rectified on priority.
2. Datalogger exception report is generated and uploaded on Mark-3 App on daily basis where sectional staff take action and update progress of the same on the App. Sectional and divisional officers monitor the same on daily basis to prevent failures.
3. Provision of ring arrangement for power supply in yard is in progress, spare cores are being identified to implement ring structure to avoid long duration failures in case of cable defective
4. Replacement of overaged LED is in progress, target for 2022-23 is of 1000 out of which 125 have been replaced.
