Achievements of Operating Deptt Ambala Division during 2023-24 Up to Mar-24.

  1. Cement loading during 2023-24 is 92.48 wagons average per day as compared to 80.07 wagons average per day during   same month of the last year thus showing an improvement of 15.49%.

  2. Container loading during 2023-24 is 212.98 wagons average per day as compared to 172.84 wagons average per day during same month of the last year thus showing an improvement of 23.22%.Container loading is 408 wagons on 31-03-24, which is Highest Ever. Previous Highest Ever was 402 wagons on 13-02-24.Container loading is 231.55 wagons Avg per day during Jan-24, which is Highest Ever. Previous Highest Ever was 227.07  wagons Avg per day during Oct-23.

  3. Electric Power utilization during 2023-24 is 381.25 average Kms as compared to 323.39 average Kms during same month of the last year thus showing an improvement of 17.89%.

  4. Diesel Power utilization during 2023-24 is 332.29 average Kms as compared to 282.72 average Kms during same month of the last year thus showing an improvement of 17.53%.

  5. First time, a rake of 23 NMG Premium rake was formed at UMB on 15-05-2023 with validity of 6000 kms or 12+3 days whichever is earlier.

  6. First time in Ambala Division, 01 wagon of Plywood is loaded in piecemeal ex YJUD on 21-04-2023.

  7. First time in Ambala Division, 01 wagon of Rice is loaded in piecemeal ex DUI on 22-09-2023.

  8. First time in Ambala Division, Bajra loading starts from BXC during current month i.e. Feb-24 

  9. Electrification is commissioned at RGTP/BXC siding on 03-04-2023 and GHTL/VBCG sidings at LHM on 08-04-2023.

  10. New Sarai Banjara (SBJN) of DFCCIL was commissioned after alteration in SBJ Yard and three aspect automatic signaling converted into four aspects in between SBJ-RPJ-SBJ Section on 14-04-2023.

  11. Up gradation and replacement of end-cabins having lever frame with Electronic Interlocking at NGWN station on SIR-DLPC section on 25-06-2023. 

  12. Electrification is commissioned from BTI-ABS Section on 07-09-2023 and NFL BTI siding on 08-10-23.

  1. Saving of C&W staff at NLDM-     

  2. Primary maintenance of train number 14554/14553 has been shifted from NLDM to NDLS on 28-08-2023 thus saving of    man power of C&W staff at NLDM.(c) ASR on 3-10-2023 thus saving of manpower of C&W staff.

  1.  Kiratpur Sahib (KART) station commissioned with EI Std-II(R) Interlocking replacing STD-I Interlocking on 30-08-2023.

  2. Silo siding of Chhajli (CJL) is commissioned after alteration in CJL yard on 28-10-2023.

  3. Anandpur Sahib (ANSB) station commissioned with EI Std-II(R) Interlocking replacing STD-I Interlocking on 19-10-23. 

  4. Electrification is commissioned at ACL siding Bathinda on 16.08.2023.

  5. Doubling work was commissioned from SEQ to HYA along with EIs at BNN from STD.I to STD. III(R), at SEQ  from STD. II(R) to STD. III(R)  and  at HYA from STD. I to STD. II(R) on 27-09-2023, after CRS inspection. 

  6. UFSBI is commissioned between CDG-GHG, CDG-SASN, CDG-CNDM and GHG-DHPR, Dual VDU is provided at CDG & GHG and starter Signal provided in UP direction on line no 03 at CDG on 10-11-2023.  

  7. Connectivity between DFCCIL alignments with IR at KNZ station is commissioned at 18.20 hrs on 03-12-2023 after alternation of KNZ yard. 

  8. Doubling work from NBA-DBN-PTA (excl.)-DOC(excl.) was commissioned on 28.01.24 after CRS inspection.
