| Northern Railway felicitates Ticket checking staff for their outstanding performance | |
Northern Railway organized a felicitation ceremony today to honour its ticket checking staff for their exceptional performance and outstanding service during the months of February and March 2026.
The ticket checking teams have demonstrated remarkable dedication, vigilance, and efficiency in revenue realization. Their sustained efforts have significantly contributed to strengthening revenue generation and ensuring discipline in ticket checking.
During this period, the staff achieved impressive earnings across various categories, reflecting both individual excellence and effective teamwork.
The following officials were recognized for their exemplary performance by Shri Praveen Pandey PCCM/NR.

The PCCM/NR underlined the importance of ticket checking as it promotes ticket sales and discourage unauthorized travelling. Besides the TTEs act as a first line of responders in the course of passenger service. The awardees were further congratulated by the PCCM and other senior officers of Commercial department. During the interaction, the PCCM/NR listened to the experiences, suggestions, and challenges of the ticket checking staff, and appreciated their valuable field-level inputs.
It was emphasized by PCCM that such performances reflect not only efficiency in enforcement but also commitment towards maintaining the integrity of the railway system.
