Entry from new FOB from Sarai Kale Khan Namo Bharat only due to temporary closure of entry to Station by Road from Sarai Kale Khan side
The work of redevelopment of the 2nd entry at Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station, Sarai Kale Khan side has commenced. The scope of work includes construction of new staircase, escalator, lift, reconstruction of booking office, provision of toilet facilitiesand extension of the deck slab of FOB-2.
The connection of the Namo BharatFOB with the Railway FOB along with provision of a temporary booking office has already been completed and opened for the public in May 2026. For execution of these works, the existing entry/exit at Hazrat Nizamuddin railway Station on the Sarai Kale Khan side is required to be closed temporarily. The staircase work will be executed for which the area in front of the existing entry/exit is required to be made available.
In the interest of passenger safety and for smooth execution of the work, the existing entry/exit to the railway station on the Sarai Kale Khan has been closed with immediate effect. During the execution period, passengers will be able to access Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station through Gate No. 1 and Gate No. 2 of Namo Bharat Station via the new FOB.Passengers are requested to use the alternative entry and cooperate with the railway administration. All necessary measures are being taken to ensure smooth movement of passengers.
