It is notified for the information of the general public that in view the security arrangement during Independence Day celebrations, restriction is hereby imposed o­n all types of parcels handling activities (including handling leased SLRS, VPs & demand VPs) in Delhi area (i.e. New Delhi, Delhi Jn., Hazrat Nizamuddin Jn, Anand Vihar Terminal & Delhi Sarai Rohilla Railway Station) from 12.08.2026 to 15.08.2026. Parcel Godowns and platforms shall remain free of parcel packages/packings. Restriction is imposed o­n both inward and outward traffic including leased SLR and VPs (including demand VPs), at all the aforesaid stations.

The personal luggage may be allowed in the passenger coach o­nly and booking of registered newspapers and magazines shall be permitted after observing all commercial formalities as well as following of security protocols etc.

This restriction is applicable o­n all inward/outward parcel (including leased SLR, VPs and demand VPs) of the trains originating from Delhi area stations (i.e. New Delhi, Delhi Jn., Hazrat Nizamuddin Jn, Anand Vihar Terminal, & Delhi Sarai Rohilla Railway Station) and also applicable for passing trains originating from other divisions/zones, and having stoppages in Delhi area for loading/unloading.
