Appreciates Dedicated Railwaymen Working round-the-clock to Ensure Smooth Train Operations
Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Railways and Jal Shakti, Shri V. Somanna, today inspected the Central Control Office of Delhi Division and reviewed the functioning of the Control Office and the arrangements for monitoring train operations. During his visit, Sh. Pushpesh Raman Tripathi DRM/Delhi & other senior officers were present.
During the inspection, the Minister was briefed on the functioning of the Central Control Office and the various mechanisms adopted for real-time monitoring, coordination and regulation of train services. He also interacted with the railway officials and staff engaged in round-the-clock operations.
Sh. V. Somanna appreciated the vital role played by the Control Office and commended the commitment, alertness and sense of responsibility of the railway personnel working there. He acknowledged their round-the-clock efforts in ensuring the safe, smooth and efficient movement of trains. He emphasized that effective coordination, constant vigilance and prompt decision-making are essential for efficient train operations, particularly in a busy division like Delhi Division.
Control Office is mainly the nerve centre of train operations, ensuring continuous monitoring and coordination for the safe and seamless movement of trains.
