![]() Established with a strong foundation in service and care, Northern Railway Central Hospital (NRCH) has been a pillar of healthcare for railway employees and their families for over six decades. The foundation stone was laid in 1955 by Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri, the then Hon’ble Minister of Railways, and the hospital was inaugurated in 1957 by Shri Babu Jagjivan Ram, also Hon’ble Minister of Railways at the time. Located in the heart of Connaught Place, NRCH is a 502-bedded Multispecialty and Superspecialty Hospital offering comprehensive medical services. Recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) in 1970 and later by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) in 1990, NRCH has established itself as a premier teaching hospital. We have proudly been running the DNB Programme for postgraduate medical education across nine specialties for the past 24 years. As we honor our rich legacy, we remain steadfast in our mission to deliver exceptional, compassionate, and cutting-edge healthcare to those we serve.
