Abstract Duties of Supervisors

Ø SSE/ Power Supply-

SSE/PS is responsible for operation & maintenance of all the electrical assets including power supply infrastructure of Railway which include power substations, distribution panels, and other electrical appliances at stations, hospitals, LC gates, yards, loco sheds, goods yards, coach and wagon care centers, offices, training institutes, and staff quarters.

Ø SSE/ Air Conditioning Stationery Plant-

SSE/ACSP is responsible for maintenance of all stationary AC units/plants, water coolers, and refrigerators of Railway.

Ø SSE/ Oil Engine & Pump-

SSE/OE&P is responsible for maintenance of all stationary pumping installations and diesel generator sets of Railway.

Ø SSE/ Lift & Escalator-

SSE/L&E is responsible for maintenance of all Lifts and Escalators installed in Railway premises.

Ø SSE/ Drawing-

SSE/Drg has an assistance role in the preparation and checking of various technical drawings and maintains records for all technical drawings, which includes layout diagrams for electric sub-stations, power lines, power line crossings, power cable layout, power supply single line diagrams pertaining to Railway land.
