Re-development works at Subzi Mandi Railway Station over Delhi Division under Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.

Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi laid foundation stone for re-development works at 508 Railway Stations o­n 06.08.2023. The re-development works have been envisaged to provide state of the art facilities to the passengers with all modern amenities.  This would enhance the travelling experience of the passengers. The station is being re-developed with a view to provide seamless movement of passenger along with facilities for Divyangjans. Fourteen stations of Delhi Division are being redeveloped under Amrit Bharat Station Scheme i.e. Sonipat, Modinagar, Ghaziabad, Subzi Mandi, Jind Jn., Rohtak, Pataudi Road, Bahadurgarh, Delhi Cantt. , Shamli, Narela, Mansa, Faridabad, Narwana Jn.

The following works have been planned at Subzi Mandi Railway Station i.e. development of station building façade, provision of separate building porch, provision of cafeteria and o­ne Station-One Product (OSOP) stall in station building, development of waiting hall, toilets & other passenger amenities, development of circulating area and parking, separate entry and exit movement for traffic movement in circulating area, improvement of platform surfacing and existing shelters roofing, development of additional platform shelters over existing platforms, provision of modern LED based façade lighting arrangement, decorative pole in circulating area. (6 mtr), modern signage board at Entry/Exit, LED based building contour lighting, provision of at a glance display board mono color, provision of GPS based platform clock, provision of LED TV at executive/reserved Lounge/VIP room, augmentation of passenger announcement system, covering of signal and telecom cables o­n cable trays and construction new 12 mtr wide Foot Over Bridge. Six nos. escalators and Four nos. lifts will also be provided. The approximate cost of these re-development works is Rs. 27 Crores.

Shri Sukhvinder Singh, Divisional Railway Manager Delhi said that at present consultancy and work contract have been awarded, Master Plan/Concept Plan and Circulating Plans are under finalization and Centralized fabrications of Steel Girders for Foot Over Bridge are being done
