TRAFFIC BLOCK DUE TO TRACK RENEWAL WORK ON JALLANDHAR CITY-HOSHIARPUR SECTION OF NORTHERN RAILWAY

Due to the track renewal work on the Jallandhar City-Hoshiarpur section of Ferozpur Division on Northern Railway for three months i.e. from 03.08.2012 to 02.11.2012 the rail traffic on the section shall be blocked for 3.50 hrs i.e. from 08.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon on Weekdays (except Sunday) and for 05.50 hrs i.e. from 08.10 a.m. to 02.00 p.m. on every Sunday. As a result, the following trains will be partially cancelled/rescheduled as under during the period:

Rescheduling of train on Week Days(Except Sundays):

The 54638 Jallandhar City-Hoshiarpur Passenger train scheduled to leave Jallandhar City at 10.25 a.m., will be rescheduled to leave at 11.25 a.m.

The 54637 Hoshiarpur- Jallandhar City Passenger train scheduled to leave Hoshiarpur at 11.25 a.m., will be rescheduled to leave at 12.25 p.m.(noon)

Cancellation of trains on Sundays:

The 54638/54637 Jallandhar City-Hoshiarpur - Jallandhar City Passenger trains will remain cancelled in both directions every Sunday.
