CRITERIA FOR APPLYING FOR EMPANELMENT OF ADVERTISING AGENCIES on NORTHERN RIALWAY
(as per the terms & conditions applicable for current empanelment)
- The Advtg. Agency wish to apply for empanelment on Northern Railway should have a minimum print media advertising turnover of Rs. 8.0 Cr. in each of last three financial year.
- The agency should have full INS accreditation.
- The Advtg. Agency's full fledged office having sufficient telephone numbers both fixed & mobile, fax number, e-mail, professional staff/officers, necessary equipment like computers with softwares, internet connection in the name of the agency etc. should be in Delhi that too in an area/building authorized for running advtg. agency.
- The agency should have inhouse/contractual English, Hindi, Urdu & Gurumukhi translators and copy writers.
- The agency will have to provide earnest money as per terms & conditions alongwith prescribed application form. The application form can be purchased from the office of Chief Public Relations Office, Northern Railway, (or from the office as mentioned in the advt/notice published in the newspapers) or downloaded from the website.

- The successful Advtg. Agency will have to submit security deposit of Rs. 15.00 Lac (in the form of FDR refundable after satisfactory working/completion of duration of empanelment) before the issue of letter of empanelment and execute an agreement on non judicial stamp paper worth Rs. 100/-.
- The Advtg. Agencies empanelled on Northern Railway shall undertake designing, typesetting, art work preparation of block/matrix as well as art pulls required for release of advts and printing of invitation cards, brochures and other publicity material free of cost. Making of Radio/TV Spot free of charges to be broadcast/telecast at DAVP rate or the rate decided by Northern Railway administration. The agency will have to accept task of P.R functions even on very short notice.
- The agency shall have to ensure that the advts. are published in time as stipulated in the Release Order properly positioned and correctly reproduced.
The documents as provided and declaration made in the application by the successful applicant agency will be verified by the officials of Northern Railway by conducting an inspection of agency's office and its record.
