Vande Bharat Express, India's first semi-high speed train, is a new-age technological marvel that has been built to provide unparalleled speed and comfort to passengers. This train is a symbol of Indian engineering excellence and is built by Integral Coach Factory, Chennai. The train has been equipped with numerous technological innovations and modern passenger amenities in line with world standards. Keeping in view of the convenience of the passengers, Northern Railway has decided to increase the   frequency of train no. 22436/22435 New Delhi – Varanasi – New Delhi Vande Bharat Express from 05 days a week to 06 days a week with existing composition, timings and stoppage from 20.03.2023.  The 22436/22435 New Delhi- Varanasi-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express train with extra days of running o­n Monday will now run o­n every Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday& Saturday six days in a week (except Thursday). 
Running of Varanasi Vande Bharat o­n six days in a week is going to be a real game changer for boosting the regional economic and tourism sectors of both the States i.e.; Uttar Pradesh and New Delhi (National Capital). Vande Bharat Express is a new-age train redefining passenger travelling in India.
The Vande Bharat trains have been a huge hit among commuters. It is the fastest train in India, with a top speed of 180 kmph, while the operational speed is 130 kmph. New Rake of Varanasi Vande Bharat train has superior passenger amenities such as o­n-board Wi-Fi infotainment, GPS based passenger information system, plush interiors, bio-vacuum toilets with touch free amenities, diffused LED lighting, charging points beneath every seat, individual touch based reading lights and concealed roller blinds. Better heat ventilation and air-conditioning system with UV lamp for germ free supply of air. The intelligent air-conditioning system adjusts the cooling according to the climate conditions/occupancy.
