EDP Center Delhi Division caters primarily to generation of payroll of approx 40,000 employees every month along with Data capturing work, Service provider for all IT activities, Computer Management, Overall supervision of applications (online/offline). Some of the innovations of EDP Centre in last year mainly in the field of software development are:
(i)Railway Passenger Grievance Redressal And Management System.
(ii)Rail MADAD app. & website.
(iii)e-Inspection mobile app. & website.
(iv)Web Portal for RPF/RPSF Barracks.
(v)Executive Summary of DRM (e-PAD).
It is pertinent to note that the software’s are innovation of EDP Centre Delhi and first time ever to be implemented over Indian Railway. These have been made operational right from the stage of ideation to designing operation etc. by EDP Centre. Sr. EDPM/DLI has personally been handling all these projects along with her team. It is also worth mentioning that in last one year the work of EDP Centre in terms of software development has increased by 200% and for hardware maintenance by 100%.
Railway Passenger Grievance Redressal and Management (RPGRAM) System
For Indian Railway
RPGRAM has been developed by Delhi Division which inter alia registers all passenger complaints and generates instant feedback to passenger regarding registration ID action taken thereon, as well as integrates all the complaints received from multiple sources, with an objective to analyze them and generate various types of management reports to enable the management to exactly know the deficiencies in various trains/stations so that precise corrective action can be taken accordingly. Passenger gets a complaint ID through SMS at the time of registration followed by personalized SMS regarding the action taken by Railway thereon, and this enables the management to monitor the complaint redressal/resolution for each department on real time basis.

Rail MADAD App. for Railway Passengers
A new mobile application for directly registering passenger complaints has been developed (RAIL MADAD), wherein passengers can register their complaints with minimum effort/photograph, which instantly reach as the relevant officials of the division & action taken thereon gets relayed to passenger online, thus fast tracking the entire process of registration and redressal of complaints.
This mobile application is integrated with RPGRAM software developed by Delhi Division as per direction of honorable MR. it inter alia registers all passenger complaints and generates instant feedback to passenger regarding registration ID - action taken thereon, as well as integrates all the complaints received from multiple sources (14 offline/online modes currently) on a single platform, with an objective to analyze them and generate various types of management reports to enable the management to exactly know the deficiencies in various trains/stations so that precise corrective action can be taken accordingly.

e-Inspection for Indian Railway
e-Inspection is the digital solution to the issue of archaic paper inspections. The application assists officers to record their various inspections online while they are on the go. Completed inspections are automatically organized and provide standardized dashboard for real time managerial analysis along with an easy one click report generation. Additional features of this software are:

RPF Barracks Management System (RBMS)
As a part of digital initiative of Indian Railways and to monitor effectively, the construction and provisioning amenities in RPF/RPSF Barracks and their day to day repair and maintenance. The RPF Barracks are developed on the patterns of running rooms which are meant for the Loco and Operating Staff for purpose of resting. The facilities which are provided to the staff in these Barracks includes the basic amenities like rooms, kitchen, toilets and bathrooms, R.O. drinking water, separate rest rooms, toilets for female staff on duty and other facilities provided for the staff. These all amenities and facilities which are provided in the RPF/RPSF Barracks have to be monitored by the office of Hon’ble Minister of Railways on regular basis. These activities can be monitored by developing Web-based portal and Mobile Application for monitoring the progress of Construction and Provisioning of Amenities and upkeep, repair & maintenance of Barracks for RPF/RPSF personnel of Indian Railways.
