List of Achievements of the Health and Family Welfare Department

1.Periodical Desilting: - Periodical desilting of Delhi Division Railway Colonies before Monsoon to avoid any blockage and accumulation of water during Monsoon season.

2.Proposals for comprehensive cleaning of Railway colonies and NRDH Delhi Hospital: - Several proposals are under process and some proposals are at the final stage of execution.

3.Surrendering of HKA: - 64 posts of the housekeeping assistants surrendered from the Medical department thus resulting in saving of revenue for the Indian Railway.

4.Vector Borne disease control program: - In coordination with the Municipal Corporation of Delhi vector Borne disease control program was launched and successfully executed resulting in a very less number of dengue, Malaria, and Chikungunya cases reported from Delhi Division Railway Colonies.

5.Complete eradication of Manual Scavenging from Delhi Division: - All the sewer cleaning work has been shifted to a mechanized cleaning system through High-pressure jetting cum suction and mechanized de-silter machine.
