     Overview of Divisional Stores Organisation Moradabad

     Divisional Stores organization was established in 1988 with the work of Local Purchase, Uniform Cell and some Consumable Items.  Later on under this organization a Capital Suspense Depot (Depot Code no. 08) also came in existence on 01.04.2003. The Divisional Stores Depot (DSD) is headed by Sr.DMM who is assisted by one ADMM and One CDMS & One DMS. The Divisional Stores Depot situated near Saloon Siding, Railway Station, Moradabad and presently 99 Safety, Cleanliness, Passenger Amenities and Electrical items are being stocked. Divisional Stationery & Forms Cell also exists in Divisional Stores Depot there in 166 Stationery & form items are stocked. Now Divisional Stores branch has loaded with enhanced purchase powers at par of Hd. Qrs. Office, introduction of new activities like sale of P. Way scrap, procurement on GeM and Procurement of Medicines.

       ØRenovation/system improvement and action taken

              ·     10 Nos. PCs, 10 Nos. Printers & 10 Nos. UPS have also been provided this year to                    staff      of Stores Branch & Divisional Stores Depot/MB.

·To improve condition of DSD/MB, PVC perforated pallets for stacking of materials;Title Board, Main Gate Welcome Board, PVC flooring, Plastic Dustbins, Modular Furniture & new chairs have been provided for staff by internal resources. Electric Rewiring & White washing/Colour washing, Painting of Depot’s windows, doors & furnitures have been done in Divl. Stores Depot.

·   All branch officers have been intimated from time to time to furnish requisitions of Non-Stock items with complete description indicating generic /Technical Specification, Drg. reference etc. to ensure correct / quality materials, better response and competitive prices.

·Training of Shaksham - II given to staff.

·Implementation of online NSR (S-1302).

·Implementation of stock items demand (S-1302 & S-1830).

·Implementation of generation of demands of Medicines under stock items (PLs).

·Online acceptance of tenders.

·Online generation & issue of Purchase orders.

·Online vetting of Purchase order.

·Refund of EMD/SMD – online.

·Procurement & Receipt of GeM items.

·Renovation of Divisional Stores Depot.

·PCs and Printers purchased/being purchased for all Branches.

·100 Nos. Ticket Printers purchased for Commercial Branch.

·100% UMID – registration.

·All concerned have been advised for conversion of NS items in to stock items which are being repeatedly purchased.



ØSanctioned strength of Staff

Stores Branch of Moradabad has no sanctioned Strength of Staff. Staff are posted here by Dy. Chief Materials Manager, N.R., Alambagh, Lucknow office or Sr.DPO, N.R., Moradabad.
