Duty list of Officers & Key Supervisors

Duty List of Officer’s & Key Supervisors:

1. DEE/EMU

  • Monitoring the working of sections M-2, M-4, M-5, M-6, M-6A, M-6B, M-8, E-3, Tool Room, Power, CHI and Lab including acceptances of material against Stock, Non-Stock, Works Contract purchase for above sections.
  • Technical suitability of all local purchase cases related to above sections.
  • Planning/preparing of all tenders/contracts and Stock/Non-Stock indents of the sections pertaining to DEE/EMU.
  • Planning and monitoring of RSP and M&P of the shed.
  • Monitoring of ISO, Technical and Establishment sections.
  • Deal with all court cases pertaining to EMU Car Shed, Ghaziabad.
  • Deal with external agencies for work related to his/her sections.
  • Sanctioning of all types of leave of supervisory/artisan staff pertaining to his/her sections, except section incharges.
  • Assist. Sr. DEE/EMU/GZB in day to day working.
  • Any other work assigned by Sr. DEE/EMU/GZB. 

2. ADEE/EMU

  • Monitoring the working of all running sections, Inspection section, shunting section, E-2, E-5, M-3, M-7, Time Office and PPIO including acceptances of material against Stock, Non-Stock, Work Contract for above sections.
  • Technical suitability of local purchase cases related to above sections.
  • Planning/preparing of all tenders/contracts and Stock/Non-Stock indents of the sections pertaining to ADEE/EMU.
  • Deal with RTI cases pertaining to EMU Car Shed, Ghaziabad as Nodal Officer.
  • Timely turning out of EMU/MEMU rakes for train services.
  • Sanctioning of all types of leave of supervisory/artisan staff pertaining to his/her sections, except section incharges.
  • Assist. Sr. DEE/EMU/GZB in day to day working.
  • Any other work assigned by Sr. DEE/EMU/GZB.

3. SSE/PPIO

  • Monthly planning, to conduct morning meeting, overall allocation of manpower.
  • Attending failure meeting & discussing areas of concern, co-ordinating with other sections on issues of common interest, IQA,
  • Document control, Listing of records,
  • Identification of Training needs.
  • Planning of major, minor Schedule including POH & Inspection.

4. SSE/E-1

  • Monthly planning, Store management, Overall allocation of manpower.
  • Attending store & failure meetings & discussing areas of concern.
  • Ensuring availability of tools, equipments in the section.
  • Co-ordinating with other sections on issues of common interest, IQA.
  • Document control, listing of records, Identification of Training needs.
  • Investigation, up keeping of testing/ Measuring equipments.
  • Record keeping of equipment,
  • Failures and investigation report.
  • Co-ordinate with PPIO for making the Failure Report.

 

5. SSE/E-2

  • Monthly planning, Store management, Overall allocation of manpower.
  • Attending store & failure meetings & discussing areas of concern.
  • Ensuring availability of tools, equipments in the section.
  • Co-ordinating with other sections on issues of common interest, IQA.
  • Document control, listing of records, Identification of Training needs.
  • POH & repair of elect. Items.
  • Up keeping of testing, Measuring equipments, SMI’s implementations & Modification status.

6. SSE/E-3

  • Monthly planning, Store management, Overall allocation of manpower.
  • Attending store & failure meetings & discussing areas of concern.
  • Ensuring availability of tools, equipments in the section.
  • Co-ordinating with other sections on issues of common interest, IQA.
  • Document control, listing of records, Identification of Training needs.
  • POH & repair of Traction Motor, AC Auxiliary Motors i.e., radiator, oil pump & rectifier fan motors and other accessories like TM filter etc.
  • Up keeping of testing, Measuring equipments, SMI’s implementations & Modification status.

7. SSE/E-5

  • Monthly planning, Store management, Overall allocation of manpower.
  • Attending store & failure meetings & discussing areas of concern.
  • Ensuring availability of tools, equipments in the section.
  • Co-ordinating with other sections on issues of common interest, IQA.
  • Document control, listing of records, Identification of Training needs.
  • POH & repair of BL box, emergency/ EFRA-II relay, MCB, meters, headlight & its stabilizer, rotary & toggle switches, Jumper, jumper sockets, jumper boards & jumper plugs, cables, normal, head code & emergency Light, Fans, Battery, Battery Charger, driver desk panel, fuse, resistances, capacitors, flasher & tail light, signal & alarm bell, push button, light & fan junction box, ACP limit switch etc.
  • Up keeping of testing, Measuring equipments, SMI’s implementations & Modification status.

8. SSE/M5

  • Monthly planning, Store management, Overall allocation of manpower.
  • Attending store & failure meetings & discussing areas of concern.
  • Ensuring availability of tools, equipments in the section.
  • Co-ordinating with other sections on issues of common interest, IQA.
  • Document control, listing of records, Identification of Training needs.
  • POH & repair of all pneumatic items.
  • Record keeping of schedules done, up keeping of testing/ Measuring equipments. SMI’s implementations & Modification status.

9. SSE/M6

  • Monthly planning, Store management, Overall allocation of manpower,
  • Attending store & failure meetings & discussing areas of concern,
  • Ensuring availability of tools, equipments in the section,
  • Co-ordinating with other sections on issues of common interest, IQA,
  • Document control, listing of records, Identification of Training needs.
  • POH & repair of bogie frame, bogie bolster, lower spring beam, wheel & axle, helical spring, shock absorber, center pivot & silent block, axle lubricating assembly, traction motor suspension bearing, gear case, nose suspension unit, cattle guard, buff gear, centring device etc.
  • Record keeping of schedules done, up keeping of testing/ Measuring equipments. SMI’s implementations & Modification status.
