6.PME ( Periodical Medical Examination ) of serving employees to allow fit person to continue in those jobs which are related to safe running of the train.
7.Medical Boards & other medical certification or serving employees.
8.Control on loss of man days on account of sickness (both normal & HOD). It is kept under control by medical officers.
9.Health care at door-step through mobile van and in lock-up dispensaries.
10.Certification of dead bodies at Railway stations , Railway yards , Railway linesis being done whenever required.
11.Certification of Perishable goods in Railway stations about their disposal is done as and when required.
12.Enforcement of Prevention of Food Adulteration Act within Railway premises.
13.Monitoring of quality of drinking water in Railway Stations and Railway Colonies.
14.Surface sanitation at certain Railway Colonies and at some nominated Railway Stations.
15.Reproductive and Child Health Services including Family Welfare and immunization of vulnerable groups.
16.Implementation of National Health Programs.
