DUTY LIST OF ELECTRICAL OFFICERS ON AMBALA DIVISION

 

 

Sr. Divisional Electrical Engineer/G.

 

1.

Overall supervision on maintenance of General Power Services, Train lighting and ACC services

 

2

Planning and execution of works programme, Machines & Plant Programme, Machines & Plant Programme and Rolling stock programme pertaining to Electrical services.

 

3

TC part as per schedule of Power

 

4

Budget and Expenditure control, Accounts & Audit matters.

 

5

Policy, co-ordination and overall control concerning to various sections of electrical services on the division.

 

6

Co-ordination with State Electricity Boards at the level of S.E. and above.

 

7

Co-ordination with Branch Officers of UMB division and HQ officers.

 

8

Correspondence relating to DOM, POM, PNM, DRUCC, ZRUCC and other unions matters.

 

9

Stores Management- Formulation of policies, overall planning and periodical reviews to accelerate procurement action.

 

10

Control of gazetted staff, non gazetted staff – Ministerial and supervisors.

 

11

Overall coordination with other Agencies viz. RE, CEE (Const.) IRCOT, CRIS, DFCCI, RVNL etc.

 

 

12

Establishment matters posting and transfers.

 

13

Detailed Inspection as per schedules

 

 

 

Assistant Electrical Engineer:

1.

Detailed field inspections and supervision of electrical power installations, pumping & oil engine installations, train lighting, AC-SP and ACC services.

 

2

TC part as per schedule of Power

 

 

3

Daily monitoring of electrical general services, train lighting, AC-SP and ACC services, breakdown repairs, periodical overhauling alongwith monitoring on deployment of staff by centralized organizations like pumps & oil engines, air-conditioning stationery plant etc.

 

4.

To attend derailments, accident and other emergency duties on the division as per prescribed rules.

 

5.

To attend breakdowns for quick restoration of electrical services.

 

6.

Establishment matters concerning all skilled and non-skilled artisan staff including their trade testing, postings, transfers.In cases of transfers, downgrading of posts approval of higher competent authority will have to be invariably taken.

 

7.

Attend all meetings required at AEE’slevel.

 

8.

To assist Sr. DEE in his office work.

 

9.

Follow up and liaison with Finance and Divisional stores officer for procurement of stores.

 

10

Any other work assigned by. Sr. DEE/G
