3.0 Highlights of F.Y. 2018-19
i. 08 no. new lifts have been commissioned for the benefit of Divyang & Aged passengers & staffs at TKJ officers Enclave, CNKP officers enclave & Delhi shahdara Railway station.
ii. 04 no. new escalators have been commissioned for the benefit of Divyang & Aged passengers at Delhi shahdara & Faridabad Railway stations.
iii. 08 no. Lifts replaced in Service building and Officers Railway colony in place of Old aged lifts.
iv. Replacement of over 83800 nos. conventional luminaries of 11/28/36/40 watt with LED luminaries of 7/13/18 watt at Railway quarters over Delhi division resulting in annual saving of 26.28 Lacs units amounting to Rs. 245.71 Lacs & reduction in CO2 emission of 878.81 Ton.
v. Renovation/conversion of Sleeper class waiting hall into AC waiting hall at Ajmeri gate side, New Delhi station.
vi. The lux level at different locations such as platforms, circulating areas, waiting halls, FOBs, above escalators and lifts at NDLS,DLI & HNZM have been improved by providing extra fitting and enhancing the wattage by replacing of exiting fittings.
vii. Proto Type Solar system feeding OHE:- First ever pilot project of 5 KW on grid solar plant has been installed successfully to feed in 25 KV OHE at PF no. 2 /3,New Delhi Station.
viii. The Façade lighting provided at service buildings of Delhi & New Delhi stations of Delhi division.
ix. Provision of Air Cooling Plant at PF.No.1 at New Delhi :- Air cooling plant of Cap. 13500 CFM has been utilized to provide cooled air at platform no-1 for 2 No. of bays using ducts (after false ceiling clearance was not appropriate for provision of ceiling fans) at New Delhi for the First Time as a pilot project in DLI Division. It will improve comfort of waiting passengers.
x. Provision of Open Ductable AC Plant at New Delhi, DEC, HNZM & ANVT Railway Station :- In order to ensure better comfort of waiting passengers in waiting room with provision of Open Ductable Invertor type AC plant. In order to ensure aesthetics, illumination pattern is designed in tray at bottom of duct.
xi. Improvement of Lux level at PRTP sidings using green energy: First time in DLI division solar mini high mast of 8 Mtrs height (10 Nos.) with Bluetooth technology for health monitoring & 6 Nos. 30-Watt standalone Solar LED street light have been used to improve long standing demand of illumination improvement at PRTP Goods siding.
xii. App based Smart Energy Meter:- Single phase energy meter with smart metering and billing system provided in railway officer’s enclave C.F road, New Delhi.
xiii. Provision of Audio Clips at Escalator at Entry/Exit New Delhi Railway Station: First time in history of Delhi division the Audio announcement system has been introduced in escalator at Entry/Exit on FOB-III at New Delhi Railway station of instructions for users of escalator. It is very helpful for the new users of escalators to avoid any mishap.
xiv. 01 no solar geyser of 2500 LPD commissioned at New Delhi Railway station for availability of hot water. The system will result in annual saving of 0.54 Lac units amounting to Rs.5.04 Lac & reduction in CO2 emission of 44.28 Ton.
