Objective of mechanical power wing is-

·To maintain all the tools and equipment of SPARMV and ART as per standard list and recommendation.

·To ensure minimum breakdown of weighbridges by ensuring timely preventive maintenance schedule & inspections.

·Restoration of all the Heritage steam locomotives and make them fit for movement in shed.

·Compliance of Hon’ble NGT orders, implementation of CPCB & SPCG directions.
