Hierarchy of Commercial Department

1. Ticket Checking Drive

 No Special Ticket Checking drive was organized during the month of May’21 due to lockdown.


2. Innovation and Transformation Drive

·The Division successfully received and unload 19 Oxygen Express with 1286.04 ton Oxygen in May’21.14 Oxygen express were received at Bareilly, 04 at Harrawala & 01 at Moradabad.

 ·The Division received Consent to Operate order from Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board for Moradabad Goods shed on 26.05.2021.  Now, 03 Goods sheds (MB, HRI & ROZA) over the Division are having consent order by UPPCB.

 

3.Project Saksham

Training under Project ‘Saksham-II’ has been imparted to 100% employees of Commercial Department.

 

4. Samvad

06 Samvads were conducted with 41 staff in May’21, to aware the staff about Corona Virus, vaccination and social distancing.


5. ATVM

49 ATVMs at 23 stations have been started till date. Demand for 29 ATVMs at 23 locations has already been sent to HQ on 7.9.17 vide letter 1-ATVM/facility/MB/2017C. Approval is still awaited.

 

6.STBA Contracts

44 STBA are presently working over the Division.


7. JTBS Contracts

At present 47 JTBS contracts are running over the Division.

 

 8. Lease Contracts

3 SLR/SLRDs are running on contract basis over Moradabad Division. One VP is also running on returning basis.


Divisional Earnings

9. Number of passengers booked

 During the month of May’21, net passengers booked over the Division were 2.9 lacs as against of -1.9 lac in the corresponding month of last year (cancellation due to lockdown). Thus the numbers of passengers booked were increased by 252% in comparison to the corresponding month of last year.

 

10. Passenger Earnings

 During the month of May’21, the Passenger Earning was ₹ 8.40 crore as against of ₹ -10.43 Cr in the corresponding month of last year. Thus, the Passengers Earning increased by 180% in comparison to corresponding month of last year. The incline is due the country lockdown in Apr’20.

 

11. Other Coaching Earnings

 During the month of May’21, the Other Coaching Earning was ₹ 2.42 Cr. as against 0.04 Cr. in the corresponding month of last year. Thus, the Other Coaching Earning increased by 5852% in comparison to corresponding month of last year.Clerkage & Can. Fee of ₹ 1.9 crore due to heavy cancellation of 1.6 lacpassengers in May'21 is the major factor behind the incline in Other Coaching revenue.

 

12. Goods Earnings

 During the month of May’21, Goods Earning was ₹36.46 Cr as against ₹36.99 Cr in the corresponding month of last year. Thus, the Goods Earning decreased by 1.4 % in comparison to corresponding month of last year. Food grain, Container & Automobile loading in the month of May’21 have increased by 256%, 123% & 100% respectively. 28.5 rakes of Food grain,58 rakes of Container & 4 rakes of Automobile were loaded in May’21 as against of 8 rakes, 26 rakes & 2 rakes respectively in the corresponding period of last year.


13. Sundry Earnings

 During the month of May’21, Sundry Earning was ₹3.96 Cr as against ₹2.24 Cr in the correspond-ing month of last year. Thus, the Sundry Earning increased by 76.6% in comparison to correspond-ing month of last year. This incline is due to the earning from miscellaneous heads in May’21.

 

14. Total Earning

 During the month of May’21, Gross Earning was ₹51.23 Cr as against ₹28.84 Cr in the corresponding month of last year. Thus the Gross Earnings increased by 77.6% in comparison to corresponding month of last year. The incline is due to the growth in all the heads of Divisional earning.

 

 

15 Ticket-Checking Earning

 During the month of May’21, Ticket Checking Earning was 0.18 crore as against nil in the corresponding month of last year. Thus, the Ticket Checking Earning increased by 100 % in comparison to corresponding month of last year.

 

16 Base Kitchens

There are two Base kitchens i.e. DDN & MB operated by contractors over this Division.


17Parking Lots

20 Parking locations are under contracts but not in operation due to lockdown.


18 Milk Stall

20 Milk stalls are working viz. MB-2, BE-3, CH-2,RMU-2,SPN-1,NBD-2,RK-2,HW-2,HPU-2, LRJ-2


19 POS Machines

88 POS machines are currently working over MB Div. to support cashless transactions.

25. Assistance required from Headquarters Offi 

Clarification regarding license fee to be collected from NFR contractors who did not open their contracts even for a single day beyond 22.6.20.

 ·Clarification regarding whether Performance Guarantee is to be treated at par with Security Deposit for earning contract. Whether this will also be applicable to NFR and leasing of VP/SLR.

 ·Since, funds are not available with the division and due to various modes of receipt of EMD/ PF/SD, there will be problem of accountal and any loophole in the procedure can lead to multiple refund instances of the same case, it would be prudent that a joint procedure order be issued at appropriate level to tap any leakage of the revenue.

 ·Clarification regarding the dies-non period extension of contract for that period in respect of Catering & Vending contract due to COVID-19 related instructions.

 ·Clarification regarding transfer of contract to the legal heir in the event of death of original licensee over MB Divn.
