NEW INITIATIVES
·Roza Goods shed has been notified as CRT for handling container traffic in as a new initiative towards increasing rail traffic by the Efforts of BDU/MB.
·The Division received Consent to Operate order from Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board for Moradabad Goods, Hardoi, Roza and Rampur Goodssheds.
·An interactive session was held between SIDCUL Manufacturers Association, Container Train operators, and Railways on 04.10.2021 where PFT policy, PPP policy, and Freight forwarder scheme, and other freight related issues were discussed in detail.
Piecemeal loading of Jaggery as new traffic started from AMRO, RK, HPU, and BE. Some new parties have also shown interest in loading Jaggery at AMRO and HPU.
·Moradabad Division became the first over Northern Railway to finalise the agreement for Goods shed development through public private partnership model. The agreement for Garhmukteshwar Goods shed executed with Shree Aadinath Trading Co. Meerut for 05 years.
NIT for Bareilly cantt Goods shed for development under PPP model policy was also published on 11.11.2021. Date of opening of tender: 22.12.2021
·Bijnor and Bulandshahr Goods sheds are also in pipeline for publishing NIT under PPP model. Scope of work and estimates are under finalization.
·Tender for a green field goods shed at Dalpatpur station is also under process with the Division. NIT will be published soon.
·A Video conference has been planned with the Chief distribution manager of HPCL at 12:30 hrs on 14.12.2021. HPCL has shown interest in developing an ethanol handling facility near Najibabad.
·08 STS proposals have been received by various parties over the Division. They are in the advanced stage of finalization.
BDU/MB is in touch with a new customer of Glucon-D packages from Haridwar which is expected to provide a traffic of 01 VP per week. The party is expected to take place soon.
·A new traffic of Jagree from Roorkee Goods shed has been chased by BDU/MB. The party is expected to place indent for the same very soon.
A new customer of sugar captured by the efforts of BDU/MB. (Dhan agro pvt. Ltd Roorkee) Expected date of loading: 14.12.2021.
·Tender for lease in 49 SLRs in 22 trains over the Division was opened on 10.11.2021 in which bids were received for 05 SLRs and are under process with the Division. Tender for 31 more SLRs in 15 trains will be published soon by the Division.

KISAN RAIL
- BDU/Moradabad has captured new traffic of Kisan Rail from Hardoi, Bareilly and Roza station.
- 08 Kisan Rails have been loaded so far from BE, HRI and Roza respectively and from now, total 05 Kisan rails per week are expected from these 03 stations combined.
