ORGANISATION :

Electrical –TRD organization of Moradabad Division is headed by Senior Divisional Electrical Engineer who is assisted by one Divisional Electrical Engineer in Division and by three Assistant Divisional Electrical Engineer in Hardoi, Najibabad and Hapur.

SPECIAL WORKS DONE BY TRD DEPARTMENT IN THIS FY 2022-23

1.

CRS Inspection of Doubling of NERI-SPC Section (TKM:33.168) was sucessufully done on 11.04.2022

2.

Work of provision of Buried rail in all SP/SSP of Moradabad Division was completed

3.

Electrification of 2 No. siding (i.e. ATLP Siding and JPL Siding of approx TKM 0.35 and 0.107 respectively) by Division itself.

4.

Electrification of RAC Station lines and BLM Washing line was successufully done

5.

2 new relay Panels with Numerical relays installed at GLH/TSS, SAR/TSS because of these new panels the fault segregation has become fast and reliable. The old static relays were unreliable and less accurate.

6.

Upgradation of SCADA system with 0130 Rev 2 has been commissioned in MB-GZB main Line section. This has increased the speed, accuracy and reliability of remote operation of switching devices during block and faults.

7.

Tree Trimming of Approx 4753 No. of Trees were done in this Financial Year.

8.

Replacement of 13.18 TKM of weak catenary wire in this Financial Year

9.

Replacement of 160 mm sq G jumper in 1st Sub sector work is under progress in which 309 No. of jumper has been provided out of 536 No. of jumpers

10.

Replacement of 36 No. of rusted cantilever in this financial year

11.

Replacement of 95 No. of rusted ACC wire with Catenary wire to avoid failures in polluted zone

12.

 Approx 7000 No. of damaged and rusty No. plate were replaced with new No. plate.

13.

7260 No. of PG has been replaced in this financial year during maintenance of jumper.

CHANGES IN MAINTENANCE PRACTICES

Foot-patrolling and footplate schedule made for supervisor and monthly monitoring of their inspections done by concerned Officer.

2.

To reduce the breakdown restoration time Mock Drills are being executed by officers in regular interval.

3.

Increase in Tower Wagon working instead of Truck movement

4.

Daily advance block planning sent to operating department for maximum utilization of block

5.

Thermo-vision checking drive launched for conditional monitoring of all joints and connectors  in the section

6.

Live Line checking of overall section has been done 2 times to arrest the failure prone areas.

7.

Condition monitoring of Transformers is being done to check the healthiness of transformer of Moradabad Division.

8.

Replacement of static panel with numerical panel was done to improve the reliability of system.

9.

Combine working of two to three tower wagons is carried out in sections where blocks are available. This maximizes the output nd helps in liquidating the maintenance of a particular section early.

10.

Maximum utilization of shadow block in NI work, Girder Launching etc.
