Highlights/Achievements from April -21to Feb-22
ØSubsidized meal facility has been started Ist time at running Room BTI on dated 01-4-2021.
ØFresh contract for subsidized meal facility at Running Room Dhuri has been started from 01-4-2021.
ØFueling of first DSL Locomotive No. 70763 /WDP-4/TKD done at RCD CDG on dated 01-4-2021.
ØImported equipments of Lucas HRD were received from office of the Sr. Material Manager, Curry Road Mumbai on dated 07-4-2021 & the same material has been collected from Parcel Office BTI on 10-4-21.
ØTo ensure safe train operation, 42 numbers of Safety Drives (including Mega Safety Drive from 27.01.2022 to 26.02.2022) have been launched from April-2021 to Feburary-2022.
ØHRD for BD truck BTI has been commissioned successfully on dated 16-6-2021.
ØKLK-Lube Oil Pressure switch (OPS) is a loco safety device; it shuts down the loco whenever lube oil pressure of loco falls below prescribed limit i.e. 1.5 kg/cm² for ZDM-3 locos. It stops the power supply of fuel solenoid valve if lube oil pressure drops below 1.5 kg/cm², so loco gets shut down.
Engine Temperature Switch (ETS) is a loco’s idle safety device, whenever the water temperature of loco exceeds above 95ºC it bring the loco to idle position.
It stops the power supply of EP Valve of CAP line if water temperature reaches above95ºC, so loco comes on idle condition. To ensure the trouble free working of both above said safety switches same are tested on test bench. This test stand has been developed in-house by Dsl Shed KLK to increase the reliability of locos working on KLK-SML section.
