Electrical Operation (RSO Wing) was established on 31.05.2023 when the duty distribution of Mechanical and Electrical officers involved in crew management and related activities was revised and separate branch which look after the crew management and related activities was established.
Electrical Operation (RSO Wing) department is headed by Sr. DEE/OP with assistance of 01 DEE/OP, 01 ADEE/OP and 73 Chief Loco Inspectors etc.
It comprises 11 crew lobbies, 10 running rooms, 02 RDIs and 01 training school (DST&DC).
Electrical Operation (RSO Wing) have more than 2300 staff who are working hard day and night to run more than 180 pairs of mail/passenger express and 130 goods trains per day from which more than 5.17 Crores of people and 5.71 Million Tonnes of goods reached to their destination.
