Introduction:-
Role of the safety department is to ensure safe operation of trains, inform employees about safety rules from time to time; conduct, foot plate inspections, ambush checks, station inspections, lobby inspections, running room inspections, ART/ARMEs inspections over the FZR division. Along with there also to perform important tasks like level crossing inspections, night inspections, staff counselling, safety seminars, Shunting Melas, accidents case investigations and accident case updating on SIMS portal.
The Safety organization in the division is headed by Sr. Divisional Safety Officer. He is assisted by Asst. Divisional Safety Officer and Six safety counselor’s one each from Traffic, C&W, P.way, Loco, S&T & TRD.
