Telecom Highlights for FZR div for May-25

1)New 6-quad cable laid and commissioned in Beas-Butari (11.5 kms) section and all circuits shifted on new cable.

2)New CMS connectivity link provided b/w Jalandhar city-Amritsar on Rly OFC media and CMS connectivity link b/w Firozpur-Amritsar shifted on Ethernet port (2 Mbps) from 64 kbps BSNL channel.

3)Wi-Fi connectivity in Officer rest house at Amritsar shifted on OFC media (OFC cable laid departmentally) from Copper media.

4)Overaged 12V/100 AH VRLA batteries used for 25W VHF communication replaced at Phillaur-Lohian Khas section (04 nos), 17 nos in FZR-BTI, KKP-FKA, FZR-AJL sections. Total- 21 nos.

5)Overaged 48V/200Ah batteries used for STM/MUX communication replaced at Firozshah, Dagru, Ajitwal, Romana Albel Singh, Gholewal, Chand bhan stations departmentally. Total- 06 nos.

6)New additional Puncom MUX ( V100) installed at Chiheru, Jalandhar Cantt, Jalandhar City, Suranasi, Kartarpur, Hamira stations ( Total- 06 nos) for Signalling circuits and all Signalling circuits ( Block, Axle Counter & Data logger ) shifted on it.
