- Overall incharge for Maintenance of Freight rolling stock and related infrastructure planning in 3 Freight Examination Yards (BTI,UMB & KJGY) and 2 ROH Depots (UMB & KJGY).
- Overall incharge for Disaster Management related equipments such as (ART, ARMV, SPART, SPARMV, BD Crane, HRE, Road mobile Breakdown van etc.)
- Planning and monitoring of all Wayside equipments such as HABD, WISE etc.
- Administrative incharge of NG Diesel Shed Kalka & Satellite DSL Shed UMB.
- Divisional Coordinator for execution of EnHM related activities in division & correspondence with HQ in this regard for compliance of NGT Guidelines.
- Timely planning & execution for M&P, Works/RSP Programme.
- Timely planning & execution for AMCs of Critical Disaster Equipments, Surface Wheel Lathe, M&Ps, Contracts related to Freight and DSL maintenance.
- Overall monitoring for Establishment, Staff welfare & timely disposal of Union/D&AR/RTI/CPGRAM/Audit/Court Case related matters.
- Maintenance & upkeep of Test Wagons for calibration of EIMWBs of Private & Railway Sidings.
- Monitoring of BLC Rake Examination in Inland Container Sidings (PLPC/CHA)
- Carrying out periodic/scheduled inspections and compliance of inspection notes of higher officials.
- Monitoring Budget related activities for optimum utilization.
- Any other duties as assigned by DRM or HQ.
Duty list of ADME/P/UMB

- Overall monitoring for timely submission/compliance of safety audits, inspections, safety drives, circulars in related field units.
- Monitoring Budget related activities for optimum utilization.
- Any other duties as assigned by Sr.DME, DRM or HQ.
Duty list of ADME/DSL /KLK
1.Incharge of NG DSL Shed Kalka & Satelite SML Shed for timely quality maintenance & safe operation of ZDM3 Locos, RMCs & Steam Loco with aim of running of Maximum Numbers of Trains in KSR section.
2.Responsible for overall performance & improvement of DSL Shed Kalka Unit in terms of Locomotive performance, failures & maintenance, Union related matters, running of vintage Steam Locomotive KC-520 & Rail Motor Cars.
3.To ensure/ monitoring of on-going works related to maintenance, safety & punctuality of NG Loco & RMC of NG DSL Shed / KLK.
4.Monitoring the operations of ART/KLK.
5.Administrative works related to DSL Shed KLK unit, Divisional Level & Head Qtr etc. To follow instruction and implementation of policies/orders of Divisional Level & Head Qtr.
6.Budget/Material/Contract management for related activities in Shed.
7.Coordination with Parel Workshop,Central Railway for POH of Locos.
8.Innovation & system improvement of effective working.
9.Counseling of staff/ supervisors on special drive.
10.Carrying out periodic/scheduled inspections and compliance of inspection notes of higher officials.
11.Monitoring for efficient and effective working during derailments/accidents/disaster for expeditious restoration of operation.
12.Overall monitoring for timely submission/compliance of safety audits, inspections, safety drives, circulars in related field units.
13.Any other duties as assigned by Sr.DME, DRM or HQ.
Duty list of SSE/ART/ARME/SPARMVs
1.Timely upkeep and maintenance of ART/ ARME/SPARMV, its monthly schedule and monthly trial and load testing.
2.To ensure the rescue and restoration in fastest possible method and time.
3.Check the fitness of the rolling stock which is moved from the accident site.
4.To ensure availability of all tools and equipment in ART/ ARME/SPARMV as per standard list and recommendation.
5.Timely dispatch of ART/ARME/SPARMV after call with all of the nominated/spare gang staff.
6.To make arrangement of quick communication with the nominated/spare gang staff on call of ART/ARME/SPARMV in case of any accident/disaster etc.
7.To ensure regular testing of equipments and regular mock drills by making different scenarios.
8.Updating skill matrix time to time and ensure inhouse training as well in IRIDM (as per eligibility) of all of the nominated/spare gang staff.
9.Plan for efficient and quick movement of ART equipment to the site.
10.Ensure safe and efficient working of cranes, hydraulic re-railing equipment and other rescue devices.
11.Implementation of Policies/Circulars advised by Division/HQ/Railway Board time to time.
12.Training of staff to tackle all types of Rolling Stock during restoration.
13.To keep all types of record properly such as inhouse maintenance of equipments, AMC Contracts, items on ledgers.
14.Any other duties as assigned by AME or Sr.DME.
